What is GN PLUS?
GN PLUS White Ever-White Cement Wash is a polymer-based water thinnable product. It is ideal for two coat applications on new interior/ exterior plastered wall and Concrete/RCC surfaces.

Does GN PLUS require any water curing?
Yes, GN+ White Cement wash requires water curing for minimum 3-5 days (2-3 times daily according to the weather condition)
How many coats of GN+ need to be applied?
Minimum 2/3 coats of GN+ White Cement Wash are enough to get a smooth matt finish. But if it is used as an undercoat, a single coat is sufficient.
What kind of surface preparation is required for GN PLUS White Cement Wash application?
The base surface should first and foremost be free of dust, grease, laitance etc. Before the application of GN+ White Cement wash, remove all loosely adhering material, dirt, dust & oil etc. from the surface/wall by using emery/sandpaper, blade or wire brush etc. Pre-wetting is important step before application of GN+ White Cement Wash to get better workability, coverage & higher bond strength with the surface.
Can we apply GN PLUS White Cement Wash over existing painted walls?
Ideally, it is not recommended. But if you do have to apply it on any painted surface, make sure you have prepared your surface thoroughly by removing all loosely/intact old material. This shall enable the GN+ White cement wash coat to have strong bond with the base substrate.
What is the recommended mixing ratio for GN PLUS White Cement Wash?
Mixing ratio (1:2): Slowly add 1 kg of GN PLUS White Cement Wash with 200% clean water (1 Kg Birla White Ever-White Cement Wash +2000 ml water) to make homogeneous slurry.
How to go about mixing GN+ WhiteWash?
Mixing should preferably be carried out by mechanical stirrer (3-5 minutes)/for 10-12 minutes by manually to obtain a homogeneous consistency.
How to apply GN+ White Wash on wall?
After thoroughly mixing apply GN+ White Cement Wash on the moistened/wet wall/surface uniformly with the help of painting brush (4 or 5 inch)/appropriate Roller. For obtaining best results, after each coat spray water at the surface after 6-8 hours of drying to cure the surface properly. Let the surface dry for 24 hours or atleast overnight before the application of the second coat.
What are the precautions to be taken during the application of GN PLUS White Cement Wash?
While applying GN+ White Cement wash, you have to first ensure that the wall surface is pre-wetted. Only a limited quantity of mix should be prepared which can be used within 2 hours, to ensure that the mix does not set before application. It is advisable to avoid application at high temperature, as material will set faster leaving brush marks on the surface. A gap of 24 hours between two coats of GN+ White Cement Wash is recommended.
What coverage does GN+ White Wash give?
The coverage depends upon the nature & texture of substrate/surface. If the substrate is porous, it will be less, and vice versa. Usually, 1 kg of GN+ White Cement wash will give 175 square feet per coat on an ideal smooth substrate/surface.
